I know this is a really ridiculous question but, when a dead person is on an airplane, and the air pressure changes, does the air escape from their lungs, and make noise?

I know this is pretty ridiculous, but its a bet i need to settle!

  1. Probably not enough to make a noise...Dead Bodies make noise when gas build-up (from decomposition) escapes ... which causes the body to "f**t"...No kidding

  2. Gas pressures certainly will try to equalize -- but because of rigor mortis AND because the pressure changes are usually not especially rapid, the chances of escaping air from the lungs causing an audible noise is low.

Yes, it is a strange question. No doubt about it.
