  1. 24-48 hours depending on the amount of the check and who wrote the check.

  2. if it's under 2500.00 then by law the bank needs to release those funds to you within 48 hours unless the bank finds your deposited item suspicious.

  3. Could be immediatly, or could be the next business day. Not too many banks do the immediate deposit anymore, too many people would put empty envelopes in the machine and draw out money from the atm. So, more than likely, the next business day.

  4. It depends on your 'access to funds' agreement. At the time you opened your bank account, the bank did a credit check that determined your access to funds. A good credit score would allow you immediate access to $10K plus. A mediocre score maybe $500-1000. You should be able to get at least $100...just put the check in and try to make a withdrawl....it will tell you on the transaction slip 'daily remaining withdrawal limit' or something like that oooooooooooooor just call your bank and ask

  5. It depends on the bank.  Call their customer service number and ask.  Usually a couple of days, before funds clear.

You can also call the bank to see if the funds are in your account.

Chase has on-line banking, so you can check your account through their website.

  6. Normally you can get up to $200 at the same time, if it's a PR check funds are available immediately.  Checks over $1,000 have a 5 day hold, over $5,000 an 10 day hold.

  7. If the check you are depositing is a local check, the funds are usually available within 1-3 days.  If it is an out-of-state check, it might take as long as 7 days or so for it to clear.

  8. Depends on your bank situation.  Most banks have a credit hold of 5 days on all checks.  After time you can ask your manager to remove these holds.

  9. It depends on your bank, the size of the check and where the bank that it's written on is located.  Typically it takes about 2-4 days do have the funds available, if it's a particularly large check, though it could take longer (up to a couple of weeks).
