When did Callaway come out with their X-12 Irons, and are they any good?

As far as Callaway, The X12 Irons are fine clubs.

    Roughly 8 to 12 yrs old

From what I can remember it was 1996. They are great clubs as long as they are fit to you or somewhat fit to you. Honestly there wouldn't be a lot of difference between those and the newer X-20 irons. Just minimal adjustments over the years.
