  1. First you have to decide whether cro-magnon is human or ape.

  2. Cro-Magnon (anatomically modern humans) brought tools with them when they first entered Europe from the east, 40,000+ years ago!

Even the pre-human, Homo neanderthalensis, who lived in Europe from about 350,000 years ago, used complex tools, for hunting and preparing food in cold, northern Europe!

In fact, going back even before Homo erectus, to Homo hablis (Handy Man/Toolmaker). Both humans & pre-humans demonstrated evidence of primitive tool kits, for the past 2+ million years!

The first article of human clothing, is believed to have been a belt, on which to carry tools, during times of migration, which were common to our ancestors...

The strength of our species, is the ability to walk long distances as a tribe, and to re-locate, in whatever new environment we might encounter!

  3. By the time of Cro-Magnon, hominids had been using and making tools for at least 1.7 million years.
