When did Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley begin to like each other?

Ginny always liked Harry, but only in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince did Harry notice feelings for Ginny in return. It seems these feeling were aroused by jealousy towards Ginny's relationship with Dean Thomas, with whom Ginny only went out with in the first place on Hermione's advice to try and get over Harry, as it looked like he would never retuern the feelings.

ginny has always been fond of harry but when she realized in the fourth book that harry didn't have the same feelings she gave up on him. i believe that harry has always liked ginny but he never really knew it untill the sixth book.
