  1. Wow Good question. Learn something new everyday!

  2. A lot of republicans do that to control the democrats.  She supported Barry Goldwater, a proud racist.

  3. She's never been a Republican. She was working for the impeachment of Richard Nixon when she got out of college.

  4. She grew up in IL as a Republican, and had campaigned for Goldwater at her college.

By the time of graduation, questions about civil rights, women's rights and the war in Vietnam had changed Hillary's view of the world. She felt the Republican politics of her childhood were no longer representing how the world accurately worked.

At her graduation, she was the student-body selected debate speaker against Edward Brooke.

Brooke was the same MA U.S. Senator whom she had ironically helped to elect a couple of years ago, and his defense of Nixonian ideals. This student speaker was a first at the ellite campus, which at the time practiced in-loco-parentis of the students.

While it was a challenge to the old guard, Hillary was cordial with the President Ruth Adams. Adams had agreed to the idea of a student speaker provided that Hillary were that person and she could examine the speech beforehand.

  5. Just shows how long term her two-faced problems go back.  My deepest hope is that after she loses this election, the good people of New York throw her out on her ample hind parts!

Of course, as a leftist, she would have no moral problem drawing welfare......now that's a pretty picture...the draft dodgers wife as a welfare witch.........

  6. When she was a freshman in college (1965), she was President of the Wellesley Young Republicans. She became a Democrat around 1968, when she supported antiwar candidate Eugene McCarthy. I suppose she turned against the war like many college students. She also seems to have embraced other leftist views, like many of us did in college in the 1960's, judging by the senior thesis she wrote. I would not conclude that she still holds the views in the thesis, people mature and change their views. I don't hold the same views as I did in college 30 years ago.

  7. Early!  Because most lesbians were Liberals...
