i just wanted to know, when did linkin park become VERY popular? i've known about them in mid 2005.... but i think they got real big in like 2006 or 2007 or something

Linkin Park have always been really popular...

But there music isn't liked by everyone...there latest album 'Minutes to Midnight ' had a few popular songs...

but as a Linkin park fan i can tell you there latest album wasn't very good compared to there other albums like 'Hybrid Theory' and 'Meteora'..those were the best albums ever..

no they were popular from the begining.they became more popular after the song in the end

right after there first album they got instant fame but now with there new album minutes to midnight many fans of the old linkin park don't like it.  but ya there 1st album ignited the obsession with great songs like in the end and crawling. but many people hate the band from the start

they became popular in about 2001 when Hybrid Theory was the best rock album around.

to me they have always been popular!
