He died earlier today while recording some voiceovers for "Meet the Press", apparently of a heart attack..

Gosh.. its terrible. He died today. Friday the thirteenth.

I just got home from work and heard the sad news myself.  He was an honorable journalist, and I admired him.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and son and the rest of his family.  It is so hard to lose a loved one, especially suddenly.

Tim Russert passed away this afternoon at the NBC place in Wsahingto D.C., where he works as a comentator.

He will be remembered for how he reported the political news to the American people. He did it in a special way. For example, he would have politicians and newswriters give the insider views of what is happening inside capitol hill on his show "Meet the Press". He is the Jim McKay, who was a special sportswriter and covered the Munich Olympics and said "The're all gone", and passed away on Saturday, of all politics.

He was a very nice, special guy.

We will miss him.

He was one of the best and he will truly be missed. He was one of the best prepared journalist around.  I can not imagine this election and meet the press without him. God bless him and his family.
