Vincent van Gogh passed away on July 29, 1890. He was really troubled and lonely. A theory about his suicide says that van Gogh felt like a burden to his brother, Theo (Vincent was never able to support himself financially). Theo began to suffer from financial problems and Vincent felt like it was his fault. I think Vincent was one of the saddest people to have ever walked this earth.

Vincent Van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) lived a very tortured existence. He failed at every job he had. He was never able to support himself financially. He had a difficult personality and virtually no friends. He was extremely lonely. This took its' toll on him and he shot himself on 27 July 1890, died on July 29th.

Van Gogh passed away on the 29th of July, 1890. On 27 July, he shot himself in the chest with a small handgun. He returned to his hotel room and died 2 days later. He was troubled and very depressed that's why he committed suicide. Reportedly, his last words were: "sadness will last forever!".

i learned a lot of van gogh in my art appreciation class, and let me tell you ... vincent was a VERY troubled man =/

supposedly when he try to commit suicide he didnt die ti'll like 3 days later caue the bullet from the gun he shot was so small ... or something like that
