Question:

When did atkins fatigue set in for you?

on day two I had it a little bit but today on day four it's kicking my butt. I was just wondering when others experienced it most.

  1. I'm only saying this for your own good, switch to the south beach diet. Atkins is so horrible. I tried it, and became super UNhealthy it was ridiculous. Trust me on this one. From one stranger to another, as weird as that sounds, don't do the atkins!! Your brain NEEDS carbs! The good ones, and that's what south beach includes. Please switch.

    But my fatigue set in day 4... and continued... got worse day by day ...


  2. Atkins is the worst diet to choose. If youre really dedicated to your personal health I would just say to go vegan. I was vegan for a couple months and it will completely restore your body to what you want it to be. Atkins is horrendous for your personal health. Try reading up on veganism. Or if that would be too hard for you just do what you know is right for your body. Smaller proportions and lots of fruits and veggies. Don't make your health any worse.

  3. OMG.  Why are you doing Atkins?  It's been proven time and again that it not only doesn't work, but it's flat out unhealthy.

    The inventory of this diet died when he was so fatigued that he fell over and cracked his skull open.  

    Of course, he's much skinnier now...

    Cut it out before you make yourself really sick.

I quit eating carbs a few times a year then let them slowly get back into my diet.  Then when I feel puffed up I quit again anyways- When I stop eating carbs after about a week I turn into a raging b****.  I can't even stand to be around myself then. I really don't have any advice for you (sorry).  I used to eat french bread over the gargage can just chew and spit it out.  Well that's gross but it calms me enough that at least my husband dosn't divorce me because  of my psychotic mood swings.

  5. that is why you must drink a lot of water to flush the metabolic acidosis out of your system.

    when you consume almost exclusively proteins, you build up a lot of amino acid metabolic wastes which becomes uric acid.

    you need to have very good kidney excretion of the UA or else you will have acidosis in the blood.

    that is why you need to have some carbohydrates in the diet at least once a week.
