On the first of July 1867 Canada became a Confederation.The document was signed in Charllotetown Prince Edward Island.It is interesting to note that even today people from P.E.I.consider the island as home and everywhere else not home.The statement was made in 1867 that Prince Edward Island had not joined Canada,rather Canada had joined P.E.I..
