I applied for a place on a college course this year, but; I've already attended Uni and so am not able to get any financial support, and at the minute I'm not sure that I'll be able to comfortably cover the costs of this HND course. I'm due to enroll quite soon, so what is your experience of college enrollment(U.K college please), do you usually have to pay all your fees upfront? Or can you pay in installments?

Also, do you think there is ANY chance of being accepted to enroll if you cannot pay an entire installment right away?

  1. I got a letter from my college yesterday saying they will discuss fees and w/e student finance ill be getting during my induction on the 24th of september and if I want I can pay a deposit towards the fees, so I dint think i have to pay them straight away.

  2. HND students you can apply for student finance for tuition fees. Contact your local LEA

  3. At my college, we are able to put down a small amount of money during registration and follow a payment plan throughout the year. You should speak to someone who works at your school and find out if they have any payment plans. Good luck!
