When did people discover how the human body worked / what it was made of?

Like, when did people know about the structure of bones, blood, muscles, etc.? When did they discover information (not just the existence of) about the nervous system, circulatory system, etc.? I don't need specific dates, but no less specific than centuries. Try to be specific as possible, please. : ]

And what type of medicine existed in the mid-to-early 19th century?
