But at what time in human history? As soon as we had something that looked human? Before? The first answer looks pretty reasonable.

  1. Read the Bible, Adam and Eve. When they sinned against God the were ashamed to be naked. And thats the truth!


  2. In Bharatpur Rajastan India some 300000 years old the then grave-yard was found in 1979. The evidences were clearly showing that all were killed in massacre. Two skeletons were women's while one was a small child and one was of a man perhaps 20 something of age. His hands were fisted and in his right hand they had found one needle like tool made of bone. So now you can assume since how long we are using clothes ?

  9. I believe it was as soon as they migrated out of Africa and into colder climates, where covering was needed to keep them warm.  Even today, South American Indians living near the equator wear no clothes because of the heat and humidity.

  10. The Bible says that Adam and Eve were naked until they sinned, then they covered themselves.  So it started about six or seven thousand years ago.
