  2. Pueblo was never the capital of Colorado.  Golden (or Golden City back in 1858) was the Territorial Capital of Kansas Territory which was later defined as Colorado Territory.  Denver became the capital of the Territory as more people populated it (Golden City was founded West of Denver to serve the miners attracted by gold at Pikes Peak (south of Denver) and then in Central City/Blackhawk (West of Denver in the hills).  Colorado became a state in 1876 which is why it is known as the Centennial State (100 years after the Declaration of Independence in 1776)
Pueblo was known as the Pittsburg of the West due to the steel mill located there called Colo Fuel and Iron.  Coal for coke used in making steel was mined south of Pueblo around Trinidad--location of the Ludlow massacre when miners went on strike and the Colorado Governor bowed to pressure from the Rockefellers and sent national guard troops who shot up the miners, wives and children.
Nowdays we are just trying to recover from a marginal DA turned Governor (gotta watch those govs) named Ritter.  He was no doubt be replaced by Jane Norton a lt. governor under Bill Owens and we can return to our history of self sufficiency and western tradition--we don't need nannyism.
Oh, BTW.  Loose is the opposite of tight.  Maybe you meant "lose"
