Anyone notice that the foreign affairs rhetoric has been greatly toned down of late? I think concerning Russia's actions, Condy said (paraphrase), "it's just not nice to be so forceful - it's even kinda naughty - - - "

  1. hmh lol idk

  2. When the focus shifted from the rag-tag al-Qaida and Saddam Hussein to the Russian bear.

We can bully the rag-tag terrorists and Hussein, but Russia is another matter.

  3. meh, I dunno

  4. No, but I think our own govt realized how closely oru move in Iraq resembled Russia's move on Georgia.

  5. and is that a bad thing?

  6. Yes, I have noticed, but you know if you want to make some one mad or madder, then you would say something like "Bring it ON!, but to avoid making them mad and if you want them to remain calm, then your would tone it down.

Wouldn't it be better to talk something out, rather than auguring and neither side giving in and ending up in a stalemate?
