  1. because what things actually are, are only a seperate interpretation of one's feelings.

  2. I think there are a number of reasons for this.  I think feelings are more when you actually know who you are and why you have the feelings you do. You know, being more aware, makes the feelings all that more valuable.  Also, another great example ---

I think your feelings become more important in a relationship with someone you would normally not be attracted to.  I dated this guy who was divorced, baggage, short, bald....  hmmm just not the guy I would choose out of a room full of guys.  But after 2 - 3 dates with the guy... I was crazy about him.  It was no longer about what he looked like, but how he MADE ME FEEL.  He made me feel special, he made me feel like I was the only woman in the room, he was charming, and attentive.  So, yes in this case the feelings that I experienced were more important that anything else that involved this relationship.

  3. Wow. I didn't know other people thought that too.

"An emotion as such tells you nothing about reality, beyond the fact that something makes you feel something.

"An emotion is an automatic response, an automatic effect of man’s value premises. An effect, not a cause.

"In the field of introspection, the two guiding questions are: “What do I feel?” and “Why do I feel it?”

"There can be no causeless love or any sort of causeless emotion. An emotion is a response to a fact of reality, an estimate dictated by your standards.

"Man has no choice about his capacity to feel that something is good for him or evil, but what he will consider good or evil, what will give him joy or pain, what he will love or hate, desire or fear, depends on his standard of value. If he chooses irrational values, he switches his emotional mechanism from the role of his guardian to the role of his destroyer. The irrational is the impossible; it is that which contradicts the facts of reality; facts cannot be altered by a wish, but they can destroy the wisher. If a man desires and pursues contradictions—if he wants to have his cake and eat it, too—he disintegrates his consciousness; he turns his inner life into a civil war of blind forces engaged in dark, incoherent, pointless, meaningless conflicts (which, incidentally, is the inner state of most people today)." 4. what the blood feels and believes and says is TRUE,it is a reality....how we feel about things is absolute internal fact, feelings are facts/.

To deny or not have that rift with the bf in the park would be an attempt to kill off a real truth in that person....regardless of the truth of the circumstance. You cannot  always reason your way out of every internal fact/feeling.

  5. Interesting question...

it's hard to formulate the answer I have in my mind but I'll try anyway.

So far, life and few experiences (not saying that I'm fully experienced) taught me that "feelings" always fade away and reality and only reality remains to show us that those "feelings" had no ground at first place...

I believe that people tend to feel what they think they should feel...and their reaction and behavior is but a reflection of what they feel in the inside...but  the way they feel cannot determine what something actually is like in the case you mentioned ...feeling jealous and thinking something is inappropriate doesn't necessarily mean it's true.

And I agree with you that there is no such thing as "make you feel" . For example , it's nonsense to let a guy 'make me feel' special because if I don't really believe in the deepest that I'm  special nothing can change that..everything comes from within...

    peace!
