but if brad died 96 how did they make it?

Sublime is the third and final album released by punk-ska band Sublime. Originally intended to be titled Killin' It, the band and record label agreed to respectfully substitute an eponymous title due to lead singer Bradley Nowell's death prior the album's release.

He finished recording it before his death...he OD'd in may of '96  and i believe it was released a month or two after he died so it would have been june or july of 1996
