The politicians in the South that supported segregation and opposed the civil rights movement were almost all Democrats.

  1. In the 60's, when the Democrat party decided to give up the South in order to support civil rights.  Those former Democrats became Republicans in protest.  When did the Republicans decide to give up their beliefs in small government and controlling government spending?

  2. They haven't moved away from their racist heritage.  They support Affirmative Action which gives certain people preferential treatment based on the color their skin.  That's racism.  They support the likes of Planned Parenthood who installs 'clinics' in black neighborhoods and provides free condoms which are of poor quality (which means they'll fail), only to abort as many black children as possible.  And, of course, there's Robert C. Byrd.  Let's face it, they keep minorities on the plantation to further their political agenda.  What they are doing is a crime against humanity.

  3. They didn't.  That's why the cabinet with the most minorities is a Republican one.  Meanwhile, Dems are content to keep the bread and circuses rolling for their staunchest constituents instead of demanding that they assume some personal responsibility and then reward them accordingly, like we do.
