When did they begin 'consecrating' Christian ecclesias/churches?

Jesus didn't do it and I don't remember anything of the kind happening when the Apostles were setting up the ecclesias, although very large numbers of believers were involved.

I believe that the first example of this in the Bible is the consecration of the Tabernacle & priests in Exodus.
