There are alot of people doing it, and I think it was always out there, but now a days it is obvious because people don't care about being secret about it.

I think more and more these days, people aren't bothering to TAKE THE TIME find the correct person. They are just 'choosing' at random (nearly) because they don't want to be alone or they don't want to do their own laundry.

People don't just cheat because of lack of character. (Yes, you have those who cheat because they are a  s   s   e   s... But those number very few.) Real people cheat because something is missing and they think they can just cross over to the other side and get it and come back unscathed.

It also has to do with knowing yourself. Self analysis this day may seem popular, but people don't really want to know who they are...They want the quick fix. In Freud's day, it took time and people didn't mind or they repressed it. These days people are so proud of being bi polar and what not... yet, they want the the wham bam cure.
