  1. My son co-slept with me until he was around 4 months, and now hes 2.5 years old and is co-sleeping again.  The longer you keep up the routine, the longer it will take to break, so if you dont want her co-sleeping with you until she is a pre-teen Id say you want to start breaking the habit now.

  2. My daughter is 4 almost 5 and she still sleeps with us sometimes. It doesnt bother me but the bigger she gets the less room there is for me and my husband. Just make a big deal out of the BIG GIRL BED and reward her for sleeping through the night in her own bed. **** Luck

  3. 3 is fine i think, but its a good time to begin getting her into her big girl bed!

  4. NO CO SLEEPING HERE.  DIDNT WANT TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH.  GOD LUCK.

  5. mine is 8 yrs old and she still hops in the bed with me some nights.  i'm an adult and still like to sleep with someone (think spouse or significant other).  it's human nature and not a battle to pick.  let her sleep with the parents on special occasions instead of forcing her to sleep alone every nite.

  6. waaaay before then. the longer she is allowed to sleep with you the longer she WILL! i don't plan on co-sleeping except for maybe after the late night feeding until the early morning feeding but i would not want to prolong it any more than that. some people have no problem with it but it's not my thing. there are books on good ways to transition to another room.

  7. yep my boy is 3.5 and in our culture co sleepign is commn- but those were in the days where the mother doesnt wor ka 12 hr day.

so i have to put him to bed  in his own room. and lay with him for an hr- as soon as he falls alseep i'm out of there.....

i tried just leavign him in his room but then he is up for hours entertainign himself....

i turn my back to him after 3 reading books-  its a nice way for us to end the evenign with books and prayers.

  8. ....you mean some parents actually stop co-sleeping???LOL. I co-slept with all 3 of my kids. The oldest stopped around 3-4 years old. My 8 year old is really attached to daddy, so migrates to my bed several nights a week to snuggle with him. she is too stubborn to stop. My 2 year old just got weaned recently, but comes in to snuggle when he wakes up in the middle of the night--I don't even know til I wake up anymore. There are some mornings that I get up at 3am to sleep on the couch because there are 2 adults and 2 kids in a queen sized bed...i can't take a deep breath without poking someone:)

  9. Never co-slept with my kid.  So I dont have these problems.

  10. I had my daughter sleeping in her own bed at 2 months old. I don't think I could have handled sleeping in bed with my husband (hes a big guy) a child, and 2 fat hound dogs. Not to mention I'm having another baby this month. That would be one full bed.
