  2. Vlad the Impaler is said to be the first but really he was just a Romanian Prince with a passion for torture and death. Count Dracul or Dracula is another but that is just bram stoker's story... The REAL first vampire? some believe it was Judas Iscariot...i know sounds like a stupid idea but it would be an explanation to why vampire are "allergic" to certain items...such as bibles and crosses and in some stories silver...referencing the silver coins given to Judas. if you want to really delve into the subject start looking up gods and goddesses in different religions and cultures. Find ones that have similarities to vampires.
