  1. I did not decide anything .

  2. When most mankind reflection is extinct.

  3. George HW Bush signed the bill in 1990 to stop drilling offshore, was passed in House and Senate (bipartisan support).  McCain has supported that ever since then (until about 3months ago when Newt found a poll that suggested the american public would buy into the idea of offshore drilling).

Strangely McCain blames Obama for current high prices of gas in one of his new ads.  Funny thing?  McCain and Obama both voted against offshore drilling in '06.  Funnier thing?  Offshore drilling is the only solution McCain has put forth to lower prices and yet he admitted himself it was "psychological" and wouldn't actually reduce the price for years.

Funniest?  Economists say that, in total, we, at most, have 2% of the oil in the world -- and we use 25% currently of the total being supplied in the world.  Economists say that if we drill 100% of our oil, it would not reduce prices significantly (we're talking pennies/gallon at best).  And the sad fact is that Oil Companies currently are not drilling 70% of the land they ALREADY HAVE BIDS ON.  Summary?  This is a political maneuver to feed on people's anger of high gas prices.  The devalued value of the U.S. dollar and the speculation market is to blame for the current high price of gas, not supply -- of which, we couldn't impact anyway.
