When did we start talking about some as Royalty?

and why did we start doing that?are there any good mtyh's about Royalty?

Since before recorded history.  Many early rulers claimed to be descended from the gods.

Japanese and Chinese rulers have claimed to have dragons in their ancestory.

Whoever was in charge can claim what they like.  The pharoahs all claimed that when they died they would go to gods in the underworld.
