When did women start their rights movement?

It started in the 1800s and in Britain and was exported to the US. But it wasn't started by women, it was started by men (typically, 'middle class' men).

'Women's rights' was originally part of the greater equalist movement, but it broke away.

In America, the campaign for women's rights began with the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848.
