I rememeber back in the day where it didn't matter how good you were in the ring or on the mic... if you were a big star... the match was great! matches in the past with hogan and andre and some with randy savage are the most talked about today yet when you go back and watch them they are soooo slow, but yet nobody seems to care! now days it doesn't matter who you are... if you don't have the skills on the mic or the in ring movement everyone boos you.

when did that switch eventually happen??

  1. when Bischoff was in charged of WCW. he's the one who created the interview segments, Vince has to copied what Eric does on Nitro so he could keep up with Bischoff.

Remember when hogan always cut promos when he was with the nWo, everytime when He has a Mic on his hand, it really felt like Vince and his company were going to die at anytime, if he didnt have the rock cutting promos back in the attitude Era, im sure vince wouldve gone out of business.

  2. My guess would be around the Attitude Era at around 1995.  The Rock really set the bar high when he retired for all these new youngsters to have mic skillz.  About everyone tries to be funny or crowd appeasing, but honestly its not working.  Rock is the best.

  3. I totally get ur point. I'd say the mid to late 90s is when it happened, when the age of the internet was created and a smarter fan was born. Fans are smarter today and don't tolerate as much as they used to.
