When did you finally feel like a bride?

My wedding is in 6 weeks and it still dosen't seem real.

Well I am getting married a day before you and still don't have that feeling. I don't think it will happen for me until I put my veil on the day of my wedding. I don't know if you are wearing one or not but many people I know and from here on the YA boards that more than anything once the veil went on they felt like a bride. I think that is when it will be for me. I have butterflies in my belly! Just getting excited, lol.

I think it hits most in the moment itself, when you are taking that walk down the aisle.

About a week to a few days before the wedding. When I started going and doing all the last minute things. I really felt like one the night of the rehearsal. I just knew that I was getting married the next day. It made me feel really good. Good advice for you is a week before you wedding,  you and your fiance do something that has nothing to do for your wedding. It will help alleviate any of that last minute stress. I just got married on May 10 this year. I did this and I am glad that I did. After that you will feel more like a bride than you do now, because you won't have all that stress of the wedding stuff to worry about.Good luck to you and CONGRATS.

I felt like a bride just last night.  I went in to the bridal store and had my dress fitted for alterations and also picked out my tiara and veil... Up til then, I have been so absorbed in planning, that I didn't feel like a bride.  I'm so much more excited for my wedding now than I was before. ;)

Throughout all of my planning  I thought I was feeling like a bride, boy was I wrong. It totally hit me when I arrived at the church and I saw everybody waiting for me and just looking at me. I felt so special and just like a Princess.

When you start getting ready and you get to put your dress on. Then your hair is ll done and dress and shoes on then it hits you all of the sudden and it is so cool. I didn't feel like a bride till the morning of my wedding as I was getting ready. Congrats and enjoy every second of your day it goes by so quick!

I guess technically you're the bride-to-be until the big day.  I started to feel like a bride the night of our rehearsal dinner.  :)

I felt like a bride the moment he put the engagement ring on my finger. Even then it didn't seem real until I tried on my wedding gown for the first time. It's different for everyone =] Likely it will hit you as you walk down the aisle.

About 15 mins. before the ceremony starts and you start to *really* get nervous. :)
