  1. Flute. Age 12.


  2. Flute, age...11 I think. Stopped at 16. Then went on to guitar at 13 till now. Tried my hand at ukulele at 14.

  8. I started at age 8 on the piano, added flute at age 10, and then quit both piano and flute to play saxophone a year later. I've been playing saxophone ever since!

  12. I picked up my dad's old mouth organ when I was 8, never having been interested in music before, and immediately got a tune out of it, much to my dad's amazement. I immediately fell in love.That was in 1958. I went on to try to get a tune out of everything I could. I have now earnt a living from music for over 40 years.
