11 but only because my aunt bought it for me and I was in acting so I needed to be able to contact my rents.  Cellphones are good for kids with any after school activities.

my little brother got his first phone at 10.

I know 3 years isnt a bid difference but that's kinda crazy to get a cell phone at the age of 10, at least when i was 13 i was in the 8th grade.

i was 11. my dad started me out wit a net10 phone prepaid of course hes a cheapskate. and when i wanted the american idiot green day CD he got me a super old Green day CD. that was last year, but its another story

end of 5th  grade...I had to buy it myself and I still pay my own phonebill. Oh and allowance: yeah i have to actually WORK for that unlike some children who get what ever they want

21st April 1991, it was a work mobile, and I was the first in the company. I had one ever since. mind you they look a lot better now, not mention smaller.

When i was in 7th grade. (maybe 6th grade??...) i have my 4th phone now....haha. first one--was g*y so i got a new one, second one--got stolen from my locker at school, third one--defective, fourth one--fingers crossed!! its great!! i love it!! haha. if your getting a cell phone, then DON'T keep it in your school locker!! you never know!! keep it turned off, in your pocket.

Cell phones were still rare and expensive in the market when i bought my first, I was 23 then. And I bought it only when started my 1st full time job.

A hard-earned cell phone for me! =)
