When did you have your babygirl's ear pierced and who did it?

My daughter was 4 months old, & we went to a place in the mall that specializes in piercing.

Edit - We went to Piercing Pagoda too!

I pierced my daughters ears when she was 2 weeks. Its better to get it done early when they get older they like to touch the ear and try to pull the earring off. That can create infection

I waited until she was 3 months old and took her to Claire's in the nearby mall. She did great. No problems, no fussiness!!

I was between 1 1/2 and 2, and my parents took me to the mall.

My daughter had hers done when she was 6 months old. You are suppose to wait until they have certain shots. Also be careful where you take her because some places don't sterilize the piercing gun properly. I took her to the Dr.s office because they use disposable guns. Also look into family history for allergies and keloids. That can cause major problems later.

my baby will have her ears peirced when she is old enough to care for them. but some people get them pierced as infants. I would recommend waiting until at least a couple weeks after her shots are complete to limit risks of infection. Go to a piercer that has experience with babies and that you are sure uses sterile equipment. As your pediatrician they may have a recommendation of where to go.

9 months old no problems took her to wal-mart they did a great job!

im not gonna get her ears pierced until she can ask for it herself. but i will probably do it at Claire's or the Icing.

i just got my daughters ears pierced at 3 months. i got them done at claires. they were great there. my baby cried for all of about 5 minutes. i think its worse for you to watch then for the baby. lol.

Almost 3 months old and Claires boutique did it, they were great and after less than a minute she stopped crying( I was worried)

My pediatricians office will do it after 4 months when she has her second set of vaccines!
