When did you have your first kiss?

I'm kinda depressed, because i'm 15 and i've never been kissed :( All of my firends have and i'm really shy and i've never even had a boyfriend! I'm not ugly, but i think guys don't want to go out with me because they think "i never talk" which isn't really true, i just have a hard time starting conversations. I do talk more if a conversation gets going, but other than that not really. Can you help me not be so shy?

My best friend was sixteen before her first kiss and now she is happily marrie dwith baby#1 on the way. Be patient, life moves too fast anyways. I wish I had waited.

I am the same way. I am 14 but I got my first kiss by my ex bf. You should become more social with other people. I have a hard time. Be confident or meditate like I do. Don't do weed or s*x to fit in. I do weed but I don't do it for anyone else but myself. s*x... I'm a virgin. You will do fine. Just trust that you can do fine. Maybe dress a little more preppy... On the other hand, just be yourself. I'm an emo/stoner. People should like you for who you are. Join art club or choir or student council or any other club. If you like sports thats fine. I hate sports so I decided that I will try to be more sociable by joining art club and choir and later on volunteer for student council. Good Luck cuz I know that it is a hard thing to do.

weeelllll, my first kiss (even though i don't really count it...) was in third grade with my first "boyfriend.." though he wasn't really...so TECHNICALLY I've never had a boyfriend either XD so yeah, don't worry, some time, you'll meet a guy who will be just as shy as you and you will 'click' so to speak. don't change who you are, this isn't much help i don't guess, but it's what i think...

I had my first kiss and my first boyfriend at 18. I'm 19 now.

I know it feels like you're never going to have your first kiss and you're probably tired of waiting, but it's really nice and worth the wait when you don't waste it on someone you don't truly care about.

A great way to be more talkative around boys is to go on double dates with your friends and their crushes/boyfriends. This way, you'll feel more comfortable with a good friend there, and you'll be more apt to talk.

I used to be really shy until my parents got divorced, but ever since then I've grown to be a bit rebellious and not care about other peoples opinions. It's a physiological thing and you have to find a way to break it. Oh and I had my first kiss at 13, but I'm gonna be honest with you...I'm a bit of a s**t, so I've kissed a lot of boys, and you're really not missing out on that much, so if that's really what your worried about, just relax, cuz i would prefer a good hand holding over a kiss any day. =)

I never went out with the person, but I went ahead and done it because I didn't want to be fridged.. I felt like you, all of my friends have done it and not me, people say I'm hot.. and I didn't really have boyfriends years ago. Until now. I totally know how you feel!! I'm so shy unless i know someone well enough to be comfortable talking to them!! I had my fist kiss when i was 13. I regret it so much!! I only did it because i was flattered that someone wanted to kiss me! Lol!!

I'm 16 now and never actually had a boyfriend. It stresses me out sometimes, but at the end of the day i will get one when i get one, there isn't any point worrying about it, it wont make it happen.

Also, you could always just tell a little white lye to your friends to make you feel better! Invent a holiday romance! Lol!!

When you are with a boy you like, make a comment about a tv show or band he likes, (You research them if you don't like them!) Lol! And hopefully that will roll into a convo!! Just force yourself to ask and answer questions with lots of details.

Failing that ge drunk!! You will be more confident then!! =D xx

I'm 15 and the same thing is with me. Almost everyone considers me shy and I don't deny it. I have 2 "groups" of friends. I almost never started a conversation with the people in group #1. But group #2 is a completely different story. Based on my observations of myself (=/), my shyness depends on the people I'm with. I slowly stopped hanging out with group #1 because I pretty much never talk when I'm with them, I just follow like a shadow, but we are still friends. But I guess group #2 is a little bit childish so what I say don't have a lot of negative effect.
