When did you have your second bub?

hi, just wondering to all thats had children, how old was your first baby when you had your second? is it bad to have a 5 month old(almost 6 months) and be early pregnant with number 2? by the time the second baby is born my first will be 13 months old.

Well, I don't think it's a bad thing. In the same sitch here. Think off all the positives about it. They will grow up close together and be great friends, the whole child rearing and potty training and diaper changing and all that other galore over with for TWO kids at ONCE, basically. SO yeah, you will be tired, as will I, but everything will pay off in the end with not one but TWO wonderful miracles.

My first born was 3 and was starting kindy when my second was born.  I don't think there is such thing as a good time to have a second child because no matter what there is always going to be something that will make it difficult.  Having your children close means that they might be really good friends and having them further apart might mean more time for you and the 2nd baby and having them really far apart might mean your 1st born being in shock because the attention is not on them anymore.  I'm just saying that no matter when the second one is born you will have great times, tough times and pulling out your hair times.  You will love them no matter when they are born.  One thing is I didn't have to change 2 sets of nappies because my first was toilet trained.  Now was a great thing.

Well, I don't have any children, but when I do have them I  want them to be close in age.
