Is there another ingredient you can use? I know it will not be the same. Any suggestions?

  1. Yesterday. When last did you try woolworths.

  2. I last had sago in a tomato soup my stepma made, yonks ago. But i did see some bags of it & tapioca at a Spar not so long ago.

  3. Ag, who would want to? Don't even mention it, it sent shudders up my spine just thinking of it!

  4. I've seen tapioca at Shoprite, Pick n Pay & Spar. Try there.

Edit: My mom saw it today. She always made me pudding with milk & id eat it with canned fruit.

  5. No, I have never eaten it, and have no inclination to try it. The stuff is tasteless.  If I wanted to buy it here in Germany, I could get it cheapest at the asian or indian shops.  But, it should be no problem in South Africa to find it, because many people cook it in their soup.

  6. I saw sago and tapioca (the big white balls) at our Super Spar just a few days ago. I do not eat sago pudding since a child. I used to love it, but then my brother told me it is "paddavis" eyes, so I have never eaten it again. You can use rice instead of sago.

  7. never eaten it before.I have seen sago for sale at picknpay, but it was raw
