i never did fig, how, but i did find out they don't go in my nose or my ears at a early age my mom use to kick like a mule under the table and one day i had my chopsticks in my nose and my brothers in my ears,poof they went flying with a cry.

when i was a kid growing up in hawaii on a military base. i only use chopsticks now for take out chinese.

About two months ago.  My husband taught me how.  We make a lot of stir fry and I thought using chopsticks would make it a little bit more authentic, well  it's hard but I didn't give up.  I can pick up a single grain of rice off of the table now.
