When did you realize what you wanted to be? -job wise?

just wondering, since i'm stuck & could use some encouragement.

heres my story:

i like x industry and i've thought about/tried many different positions within it. yet, there is no specific job that i want to do forever. well, there were a couple- but i'm a woman and the jobs required more physical strength than i can muster (even with working out) -bad pay too. i'm really worried now... its like i don't have any more goals now cause i dont know what to look for or what to aim at becoming. when i was in high school i just assumed i would find something in the industry that i liked and stick with it. but that isn't happening, even after exploring a lot of options. also i dont want to do anything outside of x industry----at all.

i'm just hoping one day i'll be doing something random and have that stupid "ah ha" moment.... (too much oprah!) since right now im not really "talented" at anything.

SO how old were YOU when you realized what you wanted to be. or did it just happen somehow?

I've always been interested in police work, but I never really thought I'd make it a career until I found out my little sister was dating a drug-dealer. Then it really hit home and I decided I wanted to do what I could to fix things in my area.

I knew when I was about 12, I knew I wanted to work with the dead. As I got older, I started thinking crime scene investigator or similar lab work. Now I'm deciding if I can handle the math involved in either one of those. I'm only 20, so I still have time.

it's less dramatic then that. I found something I could do all day without wincing. I had to do alot of jobs to get there. I was in my 30's.

One day I was sitting around drinkin when I realized "I ain't doin shiot"

So I decided to get off my butt and eak out a easy living  getting lucky.

Thats how I became the man I am today.
