When did you start experiencing detox symptoms after going vegan?

what did you experience? how long did you start experiencing it after going vegan? and how long did you experience it for? From veggie for 2 years, I have been vegan for about 2 weeks now, and I am noticing things like different digestion, sometimes tired after meals, especially in the morning, and once I got a headache out of nowhere? (I never get headaches). But tell me about what you experienced. !

What I eat: Breakfast; oatmeal with flax, rice protein powder, small P.B.&toast, and tea.

Lunch; mostly veggies, and fruit, sometimes a handful of nuts.

Dinner; A big protein, either beans, tempeh, veggie patty, a tofu dog, and a bit of fruits and/or veggies. Then some dark chocolate :)

  1. I noticed I'm a bit more impassive and depressed. I'm lacking Vitamin D, I don't spend my time outside much (sun provides Vitamin D) but when I went Vegan I kinda left Vitamin D completely. I now don't have the will nor the strength to care about others. I am thin and very healthy, it's just I left all hope for life and mostly others. Lack of vitamin D is one thing some Vegans lack.  


  2. your diet sounds delightful. i think the detox symptoms lasted a couple of months for me, if i remember correctly. but over two year later now, and they're definitely gone and i feel great
