  1. when she was able to completely support her head -- 3 months.

  2. Do you already have one?  If not, don't buy one!  Most people I know that bought one ended up barely using them or not using them at all.....  Was glad I checked into this before I bought one (from craigslist, at least!)

  3. Well she got it for christmas when she was two months old.  We sat her in it and took her picture, she did pretty well for a few minutes.  At three months she could sit in it awhile longer and by four months she could sit in it well.

  4. At about 5 months.  But If I saw them earlier he would have had a one at about 3 months.

    Mammy of three

  5. The first time I used it my son was about 4.5 months old. The last time I used it was about 2 days later when he almost managed to climb out of it.

Have you already bought one? If not, save your money! I know about 6 people who have bought one and 5 of them said it was a total waste of money. Although the other one loved it, so you never know.

  6. I just bought one. My daughter is 5 1/2 months old. I wish i had one for around the 4 or 4 1/2 month time.

  7. I think my daughter was about five/six months old when i first put her in hers.  then i had to sell it because she found out if she arched her back she could get out!  she only used it twice!

  8. At around 3 months or so she could sit in it, although not all that well...she just had good head control.  Around 5 months she was golden...we bought the tray and use it as her high chair now.  It's so convenient and easy to clean too.  She loves it and although she does try and arch, twist and do other things to get out....we just keep an eye on her and if we put the tray on she can't push it off.  We absolutely love our bumbo and I'm getting my sister-in-law one for her new baby...they are cute and useful!!

  9. I started using it when my son was about 4 months old it was great to start with but then he took a dislike to it :(  And it was quite difficult to get him out because of his chubby legs lol...had to hold it down while lifting hahah.  I think ther are great though

  10. I bought one for my daughter at 3 months to prevent her from getting a flat spot on her head because of turning her head to one side. Anyway her identical twin sister doesn't use it and there is a huge difference in strength. The one that uses the bumbo can stand (assisted) crawl and roll around at 6 months and her sister cant. They are good, i would recommend them to anyone.

P.S. They're purposely designed so that the child cant get out

    of them

PPS It is suppose to be good for their posture, as told to me by a paediatric physio

  11. I started using it when my daughter was 5 months old and I was feeding her cereal. I still use it and she is 13 months but only when I feed her breakfast in the morning cause it's incredibly messy if she eats it on her own. Other than that she uses her highchair.

  12. At 4 months by 6 months my girl was sitting on her own.

EDIT: I loved the Bumbo, I used it alot to feed my girl solids.

  13. 3 months

When he has good control of his little bobble head!!!

  14. 3 and a half months....she was very good with her head control.

  15. I'm still not sure whether to get one. My baby is 4 months old and I'm sure he'd love it. I'm afraid it's not good for his back though, so I think I'll just have to wait until he can sit by himself.

I mean if they were supposed to sit up at that age, they would be able to do it alone.

    Anyway, that's just my opinion.
