When did your baby begin to self feed? ?

self feed meaning putting foods in his mouth or holding his own bottle..etc. mine is 11 months and still doesnt self feed:(

Well...I'd say about 6 months or so.  But all babies develop and reach milestones at their own pace!  My baby is almost 9 months and she isn't crawling yet and she doesn't have any teeth.  But she is doing a lot of other things like sitting up, standing while holding on to something, self feeding, etc.  I really like this website:

my nearly 1yo son doesnt hold his bottle

doesnt spoon feed himself - likes mum to do it

LOVES finger food of ALL kinds

has only just (in the last 3days) started to hold and drink from a sippy cup although still getting to grips with holding it ith 2 hands the tipping up to reach mouth(still need a little help)
