When did your baby first crawl?

I know that every baby is developmentally different, but when did your

child 1st crawl?

My daughter crawled at 8 1/2 months

My little boy started crawling fairly early at 5 1/2 months and then went on to walking at 8 1/2 months.  But as you said all babies develop at different rates but usually by 9 - 10 months most babies are crawling.  But saying that, I know that my friends little one didn't crawl at all but just straight to cruising and then to walking

She started crawling at 9 and 1/2 months. Actually a day after she started pulling to a stand.

6-7 months old is when he started to crawl. and your right every child develops differently and also the child needs PLENTY of floor time so they can practice :)

Wow...my daughter's name is Alyssa too! I call her Aly, tho! My daughter is just under 9 months old and she won't crawl! She can get on her hands/knees and she will rock! She will even crab crawl (crawl backwards), but she will not crawl forward! I'm beginning to wonder if she will even crawl! She is already starting to pull up! I'm thinking she will walk before she crawls! I think she knows how to crawl, but she doesn't want to! Sorry, I couldn't be more help!!

Mine crawled at 8 months and was walking (not on his own yet) at 11 months.
