When did your baby first respond to his/her name ?

Around 4 or 5 months. He's now 6 and when I someone says his name he turns toward whoever is saying it

About 7 months- I would show my daughter pictures of herself and say her name to her. I would also show her herself in the mirror alot. We also say her name every chance we get.

Make sure you are doing these things so they will learn its there name!!! Hopw this helps!!!

5 months.  My FIL was over and called to him.  He immediately turned to him and smiled.  I thought it was a fluke, but tried little tests of talking to him when his back was turned and then saying his name first.  He always turned when I said his name and ignored me otherwise.
