When did your big spitter baby not spit up as much again?

My 3.5 month daughter spits up now and then, but this past 2 weeks, she become a big spitter!!

The doctor isn't concerned about it, since she already double her weight and doesn't seem distressed when she spit up.

I heard the 4 month is the peak time? really?

No matter what I do now, like burp her, keep her upright, now matter how long, 30 minutes -2 hours, she still spit up!

I'm getting tired changing clothes all the time!

The doctor said every baby spit up (refluxing) but if there's no pain and thriving, I just have to deal with it.

So when is your baby "peak" time? and when its slow down or stop?

Thanks!

  1. I hate it too! My daughter is 3 months and a couple days old, when she was born she never spit up as much as she has been, she spits up even when i burp her every couple mins like the doctor said, but they said to me as long as she isnt projecting the spit up or overly fussy then i have to deal with it.... Its so messy and it always looks like more then it is because of the slobber, but there is no peak time and it doesnt really slow down or stop, sometimes she has days where its not as much but man is it a pain, my son rarely spit up, but he knew how to burp if he needed to by himself so maybe thats why? or maybe girls spit up more!! rofl =P

    Good Luckk

  2. never

  3. It slowed down dramatically here around six months, tapering off to nothing by eight months. Expect improvement once baby starts sitting up unassisted.

It's a pain getting dressed and getting baby dressed only to change both your outfits twice, but it does stop. I'm nostalgic over it now...

  4. I agree with your doctor all baby's spit and there's nothing wrong with that. Only that can get really annoying.  there's no time she'll just do it when she feels like it and how long she wants.  I know my cousin she's 5 months old and she does it all of the time and looks like she's actually having fun!!!lol

  5. Emma was "diagnosed" with reflux at eight weeks.  I cannot honestly remember when it peaked, but at around six months it really slowed down.  Now at nine months she very rarely spits up.
