  1. My son was nearly two. We planned to wait until two, but he was able to climb out of the crib before that, so we didnt want to chance him getting hurt climbing out. We did a toddler bed for a while, but in my opinion, we should have just gone to a larger bed right away. We have a roller, and he didnt have enough room to sleep comfortably in a toddler bed.

  2. About age 2 but we kept the guardrail on the side for 2-3 years more.

  3. Soon after discovering how to climb out of the crib.

  4. We moved our two elder boys into big beds when the turned two....

It was apart of their birthday and them becoming BIG BOYS meant they went into big boy beds.

My lil girl will be two in November and that is when she will be going into a big bed..

  5. After his feet started hanging off the bed AND when that little knuckle head stopped peeing on the mattress!!!!

  6. My little man was only about 18 months when I went into his room because I herd a strange noise only to find him on the floor playing with toys.... from that day on we have had him in a sigle bed with a gaurd rail. If your thinking of getting one of those toddler beds, please think twice. they are such a waste of money! why spend a couple of hundreds of dollars on a mini bed to last not even a year or two when you can spend the same amount on a good single bed to last him into his teens. Good luck though, it took a couple of days but now he stays in bed without climbing out and has never once fallen off the bed..
