Question:

When did your feet stop growing?

I have a 13yo son with size 12 feet. I found a great deal on some sneakers, and I was thinking about getting him a few pairs in larger sizes for later in the school year.

He went from a size 8 to a size 12 in a year and a half. He's 5'9 and I expect him to get taller. Would it be wise to invest in some 13's or 13.5's?? Is there a good chance that he WON'T grow into them?

  1. At age 13, it is most likely he will keep growing.  Depending on how good this deal is, though, I would probably not go ahead and buy more of the same snekaers for him right away.  Usually feet stop growing in the mid to late teen years, rarely before or after.  Your son's feet will likely not continue growing at that same speed for long, though.  I know if i got two or three pairs of the same sneakers to wear when i grew out of the previous ones, i would really want something different.

    Hope this helps! :D
