people eating delicious looking food. The number 1 thing I look for in a restaurant is the food quality.

Fish tanks can be really beautiful but honnestly if your eating gruel who cares

Server/Hostess there ready to seat me; a classy menu board with the specials, nice lighting, and private seating areas.

HOT Hotesses in like a French maid outfit! or HOT tropical fishtanks would also be nice. Or perhaps greeted by beautiful a woman in a hawaiian grass skirt and puts a lei around my neck and kisses me on the neck! Plump soft lips, that look like a rose bud just opening. WOW!!

Food that is priced for its quality. Also, food that hasn't been deep fat fried for two hours.

Oh, and perhaps one of those little white bowls with the free mints. Love the free mints.

Fish tank and hot hostess - Hooters can hardly be described as a nice restaurant.

A restaurant with real class will have minimalist decor and certainly no fish tanks, and the wait staff should be so discreet that they are hardly noticeable.  You only have to look at the restaurants of chefs like Gordon Ramsay to determine what is "nice"

I quite like the open kitchens as well where you can see your food being prepared..
