What is the least that is required to say that you have been to a place? Is it to land in the airport there? Do you need to leave the airport? Spend a night there? Buy something? See something? We're curious to know your thoughts on this.

  1. lol. reminds me of when i was little and tried to tell me family i been to nearly every state because i flew across the country and i was in the airspace of a lot of states. but really, i wouldn't count that unless you left the airport. change the conversation to what airports you've been to.

  2. no......stopping in an airport does not count...............you have to experience the place you have visited....

  3. I would not include an airport stopover as somewhere I had travelled. To really claim to have visited somewhere, I believe you should have an actual experience of that place. Check out scenery, local shopping, dining and night life in order to really have experienced it.

The problem using airport stops as somewhere you have been is that they are pretty much all standardized. You dont really get any local flavor or connection to the area besides a quick stop in a cheesy souvenir shop. Most people there are probably not locals.

  4. OMG i just had to f**t, this was the worst question ive ever heard before, and yes wait possibly no what was the question oh wait nvm im reading it okay well if i were to say where ive been i would probably say no but in the likely occurance that i say yes then it should outweigh the anwser that is no and subsequently mean that yes is no and vice versa,.

  5. Gotta leave the airport or it doesn't count....
