When do Baseball playoffs Start? I know October, but I need dates?

I know the playoffs are in October but I need to know exact dates because of vacation planning. I have season tickets and can't miss the White Sox win another World Series.

they dont announce it until all teams have played 162 games... there may be some games that have to be made-up... last year it was oct 4th... itll proly be around there again
