I'm making shortbread brownies and I want there to be chocolate chips on top that sink in only a little. The recipe has the shortbread crust/base bake for 10 mins and then you add the brownie batter/mixture and bake the whole thing for another 30-35 mins. Do I add the chocolate chips when I put the brownie mix in or should I add them halfway through. I don't want them to sink and disappear completely. Thanks!
