When do I know this girl is ready?

A month ago, I asked this girl out on a date, but she said she wasn't looking for one right now, since she broke up with her other bf a couple weeks before. I talk to her daily and I'm scared we might get into the "friends only" zone. When should I ask her out again? How do I know she is ready?

Well do you know how serious they were? Cause that will also impact how long it will take for her to move on.  And try being a little flirty.  If she flirts back then maybe it will be soon.  But if she is still hesitant you should give it some time.

the classic "im not looking for a relationship" usually means shes not interested. i mean what she is saying might be true, but most of the time, she is not interested.

She will let you know when she's ready. And if she doesn't, respect that. And also respect the possibility that she's just not that into you.
