  1. When they get married. And then sometimes they don't leave home. They just bring their wife home (to the parents house). Then they live in the basement or something like that.

    Can you say "mama's boy"?

  2. A buddy of mine is italian and he's 23 and still living with his mom hahaha It's cool though, it gives me something to make fun of him for. I'm hispanic and I know many hispanics who are the same way.

  3. I think it is a societal culture for some of them........

They have that thing about "family".

I have a friend whose brother is married; they both have a job but still live in his parents' house. Well into their 30s. Do not pay rent, do not contribute to anything.

    Might be the exception though.

I do not know that many..........but the ones I know still live with their parents and very dependent...am in Canada by the way.

I think the parents encourage this as well and welcome it. They do not want the kids leaving the nest and the kids - even at 50 or stg - take advantage of it,

    Suit them both I suppose.

Just my observation and no judgment..

  4. yes, it is hard to find jobs all over the world - its just as hard to find a job in western europe as it is to find a job here. also it is much more socially acceptable to live with your parents at an older age in europe.
